Let us start with a big THANK YOU from the Roof Committee, The Association
and the Children and Staff at Mooseheart for the effort you are putting forth
both as Fraternal Units and Individuals to pull the funding together to
complete this project.  We are making progress but we still have quite a ways
to go.  We have currently (as of March 20th) collected a little over $154,750.00
which means we need to continue our efforts to provide the remaining
balance of $125,250.00.   So, everyone needs to get busy and do a lot of fund
raising between now and the Annual Convention in September.

At the Midyear Conference we distributed a lot of Roof Donation Awards and come September we would like to be able to
give out about twice that many.  If you have not seen one there is a sample on the CNMA Website on the Special Projects
page.  The certificate is mounted on a nice wood plaque and will make a wonderful addition to your Moose Home.  The
Certificate’s have a Star on them that indicates your level of Donation at the time of presentation.  The different colored stars
indicate donation levels of $400.00, $800.00 and $1200.00.  These Awards are available to all Fraternal Units and
Individuals who make each donation level.  Your Association provides these Donation Recognition Awards.

We also have an additional Donation Recognition Award, which is provided by your Roof Project Committee for Individual
donors.  It started during the Annual Convention in September 2010 when Past everything, Milt McGinnis, provided an
individual donation of $100.00 along with an invitation to join him by making individual donations; which a number of people
did.  In order to provide some form of recognition to these individuals we developed a Certificate program appropriately
named “Milt’s 100 Club”.  The program is open to everyone and all you need to do

is donate $100.00 or more and you will receive a Certificate. If you need or want additional information please go to the
CMNA Website Special Projects page.

Participation is the name of the game when it comes to fundraising.  If everyone participates and donates something it
makes it much easier to reach the goal. The Fraternal Units of California/ Nevada participation percentage levels are:  LOOM
54%; Districts 86%; Council of Higher Degrees 100%; Moose Legions 64% and WOTM 94%.  I think the figures speak for
themselves, thus I will make no further comments and this time.

If you have any problems receiving spreadsheet or other attached documents that the Committee sends by email, go to the
Special Projects page of the Association Website, www.cn-nvmoose.org and you can either view or download most of the
information.  If you still have unanswered questions please contact your District Chairman or contact me, bobbb@bak.rr.
com.  Remember to put CNMA Roof Project in the memo section of checks sent to either the Association or Moose Charities
so your donation will be credited properly.

Again we want to say THANK YOU to all of those individuals and Fraternal Units who are doing all you can to make this
program a success.

THOSE OF US WHO ARE WORKING TOGETHER COULD SURE USE SOME HELP FROM THE OTHERS.

Fraternally, Your Roof Committee

       WHAT ROOF PROJECT?
It would amaze you how many times we have heard this when visiting Moose Homes.  The answer is, over three years ago the Association
accepted, on behalf of the Lodges, a $275,000 project to bring the roof on the Mooseheart Education Administration Building up to
standard.  The fundraising was scheduled for three years with the expectation that each Lodge would make a $1200 donation within that
time period.  The time limit was extended for one year and as of January we still needed $100,000 to meet the goal.  Quite honestly we
need everyone’s help to meet the goal and complete the Mission.  Hopefully you are asking “What can I do?  We suggest that you contact
your Lodge Governor, find out where you stand donation wise, do some fundraising, and help meet the expectation.  There is also a
program wherein if you want to donate as an individual you can.  Those that do, and donate $100 or more, will receive a Certificate of
Membership in  “MILTS 100 CLUB” signed by Milt McGinnis.  Donations may be sent to either the CNMA Association Secretary or Moose
Charities, if you wish to receive credit for Tax Donation purposes. REMEMBER, donations are never to small or to large, every dollar puts
us closer to the Goal.   Please be sure and note CNMA Roof Project in the memo section of all checks.  We are trying, with your help to
complete this program by the end of September 2012.  If you need further information you can find it on the Association Website under the
Special Projects link at www.ca-nvmoose.org or at your Lodge, or from me at www. bobbb@bak.rr.com.  We thank you in advance for your
help and support.  We know the Cal/Nev Members can and will make it happen.  So, THE TIME IS NOW, LET’S CREATE SOME
INTEREST, AND GIT ER DUN!!
Thank you, your CNMA Roof Committee.
